Here's a quick back to school lust list. With school starting up soon I wanted to show the items I'm dying to get my hands on for long schooldays (and manage to get me somewhat motivated to go to school). Some of these things include a Daniel Wellington watch (which you've probably seen all over your insta feed), Adidas originals, comfy loafers, great pairs of jeans (both mom and skinny) and some awesome chokers. Oh, and I can't forget about a Mansur Gavriel bucket bag (which is not really great for school but whatever). That one might have to wait until the holiday season!

Houndstooth and Plaid
These shoes are absolute perfection, I am tempted to wear them everyday with just about any outfit. They have the magic touch of giving an outfit that extra boost that is always necessary without any effort. Also, as you can tell from the photos, they hold up pretty well in this crazy weather. I felt like rebelling against the snow today and swapped my winter coat for light jacket, another item I am lusting over. This jacket was purchased from Buffalo Exchange yet has an American Apparel tag plastered right on it; one of my more successful thrifting trips in my opinion.

Spring Break Outfits
Spring Break is either slowly approaching for your or already here. In my case, it is already here. I'll be going away this spring break and just finished the most joyful part of a vacation, packing. This evidently means that my outfits are planned (well, for now). Here are some examples of what I packed and my outfits. Number one thing I packed: bralettes. Whether they are bustier style which can be worn alone or actual bralettes used for layering I am sure I'll be wearing at least one a day. Shoe wise, there's one pair in which I know I'll get a lot of use out of and they are my Aldo booties you can find in this post. They give just the right height along with just the right amount of edge. Be sure to look out for these outfits in outfit posts!

In Like a Lion, Out Like a Lamb: Nordstrom Savvy
For those of you live near a Nordstrom that carries their new Savvy line, I wouldn't be surprised if your affinity for every item in it is as strong as mine. The line is intended to be a mix of the BP department and the contemporary department, with their prices in the middle also. The line is for the fashion forward girl who wants her trends now. Mostly the H&M, Forever 21, fast fashion shopper. Between my desire for spring and this new line, I'm about to burst if the weather doesn't change and I don't get my hands on some of these pieces. These are just some looks I threw together for spring from the line that I'd kill to wear.

The Chelsea Boot
The chelsea boot, it is so classic yet each designer manages to put his/her own spin on it. The chelsea boot originated in the Victorian era and is basically a short, tight ankle boot, very simple. The "signature" part of this boot is its elastic on the side as opposed to the overused zipper. These are just a few of my favorites, I'm definitely planning on getting a pair!

Mother's Day Gift Ideas
Mother's Day is coming up this Sunday, in my case I had no idea and thought it was a few weeks away! On this day we all want to please our mom's with gifts that not only she adores but also gifts that she'll use frequently. Here are some great gifts to give to your moms this mothers day all under $100:
1. I don't know about your moms but my mom wears her sunglasses constantly! A great gift would be a nice pair of sunglasses that she can wear at the beach, or just running errands. As for the shape of them, the trickiest part, I would recommend either a cat-eye inspired frame or "geek chic" frame. The pair from MissSelfridge isn't the blatant cat-eye frame, it is not as distinct which is perfect because not all moms want to be wearing a pair of sunglasses they might not feel comfortable with. The other pair from Warehouse is geek chic inspired. I know that I wouldn't picture my mom with so-called "nerd glasses" on. So, these sunglasses have kind of a feminine twist to the classic geek glasses. Overall, both of these glasses are very versatile and reasonable!
2. The second gift idea is brand-name makeup. The other thing I always look for in giving gifts is I wonder if the person would buy the item for themself, if it is a no then I know it's a good buy. One thing I know my mom doesn't do is buy expensive, name-brand makeup for herself. Although a Dior eyeshadow palette or bronzer is pricey for what you're getting, it is totally worth it because I will guarantee your mom will not only get much use out of something such as the above but she will also love that fact that she has something that she'd never consider buying for herself!
3. Another gift idea is a woven/ straw inspired handbag. This type of handbag is extremely sophisticated and can be worn anywhere. This bag can be worn for a simple trip to the mall or even to the beach, you just have to know how to take care of it. Also, these bags I picked out are very affordable for how much use you will get out of them.
4. The last gift idea is TOMS. These shoes are just another thing that I will assure you your mom will get much use out of. They come in just about any color, material, pattern, etc. and are classy while being casual at the same time.
