How to make a bustier "classier"

Bustiers/bralettes... whatever you want to call them.... have become one of the biggest trends for the junior marker within the last few months. People have been sporting these things everywhere from coachella to the mall. Bustiers tend to be very revealing if not worn the right way, hence the fact that I have witnessed multiple different kinds of types of girls wearing them. In all different ways. Here are some example of bustiers. You can pick one up at Topshop, Brandy Melville, Nasty Gal (online only) and various other places. They are just about everyhwere. But those stores carry the best (in my opinion).

The most popular way to wear it is with a pair of simple high  waisted shorts. Sometimes this look could be too revealing though.

If you like this look you can stick with it, but try throwing something light and sheer over it. It also puts the outfit "together" more. I love when I can find a way to layer in the summertime because I think layering just makes an outfit.

Another way to make a bustier "classier" is to pair it with a full maxi skirt, a skirt that covers your whole midriff, or a bottom that is the opposite of revealing. Dolce and Gabbana even took on this trend.

Lastly, if the bustier it self is intimidating to you, try it out on a dress. The top of this dress from Nasty Gal is basically a bustier, a great alternative.
