Mountain Mischeif
Although this may not be the most exciting of outfits I have featured on the blog before, it may serve you some inspiration if you are... maybe, going hiking anytime soon? A mild hike that is. I love my Nike's dearly but Air Force's may not compliment a strenuous, 10 mile hike that well. These photos were taken at Papago Mountain in Arizona, where the tourist go-to is its infamous "hole in the rock" (not pictured) (the lighting was horrific!). For a short hike like this one, this outfit served just the right purpose. You can never go wrong with a classic pair of denim shorts and a simple top.

Western Ways
Wearing: Garage Clothing shirt, Forever 21 culottes and purse, Birkenstock sandals
This past week I traded New Jersey's hot, humid and sticky climate for Arizona's even hotter yet dry temperatures. I'll have many blog posts up from my trip with this being the first. Once we arrived in Arizona the first destination we hit was the Desert Botanical Gardens and to describe it simply, the gardens were basically a half mile square filled (every square inch other then the walkways!) with variations of instal-worthy cacti and other desert plants that were just as beautiful. Considering that I visited the Gardens at sundown, I was able to wear my culottes- which hit right below my knee- without passing out. To add a western touch I wore a bandana simply tied around my neck, definitely one of my favorite trends at the moment!
