White for Prom

For my senior prom I went with an extremely simple white dress with the most killer neckline and back (I'm not all about sequined bustiers and mermaid silhouettes if you can't already tell). Between the plunging neckline, leg slit, and low back I was able to make a statement without blinding everyone with rhinestoned boobs. Although this is not your typical prom dress I think it is very indicative of my style: simple but bold.

Brunch Days

Those weekend mornings when you get ready at a slow, calm pace, head to brunch with some of your favorite people and your only concern is whether to choose french toast or eggs benedict. I don't know about you, but I like those days, or "brunch days" as I like to call them. For me, these are often followed by some retail therapy and any other plans I have for the weekend. 

This past weekend consisted of all of those things, hence why I have a new video up titled "A Weekend in Outfits." I thought it would be a perfect time to document the type of looks I wear to brunch, go shopping, and to a concert. Here is the link to the video, hope you guys enjoy!! xx 

Smocked Tops and Overalls // Garage Clothing

Clothing that is affordable, comfortable, and on-trend for summer? I'm in.

This weekend I had the opportunity to check out Garage's grand opening at Rockaway Townsquare... and yes, Garage is the name of a clothing company. Pretty awesome name in my opinion.

Anyways, the new store in Rockaway is filled with Instagram-opportunities between the wonderfully merchandised clothing in front of perfect brick walls and individual chandeliers and adorable wallpaper in each dressing room. Garage was nice enough to let me pick out a few things from their store this weekend and here I'm rocking two of the things I picked out...these overalls and crop top.

I've been on the hunt for a comfortable pair of overalls for the summer and these definitely filled all my overall desires. I also fell in love with this crop top the second I saw it, I'm all about crop tops for summer (nothing has changed over the years) and the ruched detailing on it won me over completely.
