Mohair and Pinstripes

w e a r i n g : Free People pants / Forever 21 sweater & turtleneck / Jeffery Campbell boots / Casio watch

A great pair of versatile pants is something I always struggle to find in the wintertime because I get tired of jeans too quickly. I fell into these pants at Free People the day after Christmas, I always find the best stuff on that day… These pants are my favorite color at the moment: navy. And they are striped, not the thick stripe that I think we are all tired of, but pinstriped. I paired them with a white turtleneck and my matching white Jeffrey Campbells. If there's one thing I'm going to miss from winter it will probably be turtlenecks, I hate to sound like a loser but they are so comfortable and, in my opinion, they look so polished and modern. But you can have your own opinion, no offense taken!

It's All About Balance

w e a r i n g : Marc by Marc Jacobs tee shirt, Forever 21 pants and kimono, H&M boots, Nixon watch, Free People socks

Though you are probably tired of hearing me say this: I am obsessed with plaid. Lately, I don't feel an outfit is complete without a hint of tartan, gingham or plain old plaid. With that said, let's me make it a goal for me to not feature plaid in any of my upcoming outfit posts, let see how I do!

Today's outfit is kind of different for me. Between the bright red beanie and sport rubber Nixon watch, I just feel cool. However, of course I made sure to balance the sportiness out with a floral kimono and lace socks. It's all about balance boys and girls, that is probably my number one rule when it comes to fashion.

Chic Sneaks

Chic Sneaks

Just excuse the title, it could not get more corny, sorry about that.  I just really wanted to take a moment to appreciate the new world of sneakers, or lets just say our ability to take sneakers to a whole different level. Or, even more specifically, taking 90's fashion way back by combing sneakers with jeans. Thus, putting sneakers under the category as "chic". Out of this gorgeous bunch my first choice has to be Comme des Garcons Play converse or Adidas for Opening Ceremony velcros. Both sold at Barneys. I'm dying to get my hands on one of these.
