A Day at Versailles

Wearing: Forever 21 pants, H&M jacket, Nordstrom backpack, Adidas superstar sneakers

First and foremost, I'll make a conscientious effort to not be wearing my superstars in my next post... it's a true obsession people, they're just so damn comfortable and look awesome with every outfit But, that's besides the point. For a jam packed day in Paris, starting at the Palace of Versaille, I chose to wear these wide-legged pants that I've featured before and kept it simple with my all time favorite leather jacket. Although there's not much to this outfit, I feel like there's something eye-catching about the all black silhouette, long lines, and pop of white in the sneakers.

Fringed Out

Wearing: The Mint Julep sweater, American Apparel pants, Adidas sneakers, Opening Ceremony beanie

Now that the weather is finally warming up I am taking full advantage by breaking out this amazing fringed sweater from The Mint Julep Boutique...that I didn't have to cover up with heavy jackets, thankfully. It is oh-so-soft and makes for a great layering piece. Be sure to check out Mint Julep online to fill out your closet this spring, their website is a girl's dream between their collection of maxi dresses to awesome sweaters like this one.

London Calling

Wearing: Forever 21 jacket and shirt, American Apparel pants, Nordstrom bag, Adidas sneakers

This outfit marks the first of my many "Europe" outfit posts. As  I stated in my last post, about a week ago I came back from an  8 day trip to Europe visiting London, Paris, and Barcelona. This specific outfit was taken in front of the Tate Modern and in a couple of these photos you can even see St. Paul's peeking from behind. For a day of non stop exploring I kept it comfortable (as I seem to do always) and wore these lightweight, high waisted silk pants from AA and, not surprisingly, a turtleneck. I threw over this jacket from Forever 21 which has become an absolute obsession of mine, I love the effortless, casual vibe that it gives off.

A Windy Experience

Wearing: H&M jacket, LoveCulture skirt, Forever 21 kimono and turtleneck, Adidas sneakers, Mansur Gavriel bag

This outfit is long overdue being that it marks the last day of Teen Vogue Fashion University...which was back in March, but I do have a reasonable excuse this time because I've been in Europe!! The past 8 days I've been traveling between London, Paris and Barcelona and it was an unforgettable experience. Outfit posts from Europe are to come but, I wanted to make sure I shared this outfit before anything. The weather was not cooperative as per usual in Manhattan this day so I layered excessively. What else would I do?? I absolutely the love the variety of lengths in this look- between the ankle length skirt, long kimono, and short leather jacket.

Balcony Living

Wearing: H&M vest, Urban Outfitters pants, Forever 21 shirt, Asos boots

This outfit was from last weekend at Teen Vogue Fashion University, I wore this to the Express event on Friday night (make sure to watch my vlogs on my YouTube channel if you want to see how awesome it was!). It is shocking how comfortable this outfit was, these pants from Urban were actually under "lounge pants," but you would never guess it! To downplay their pajama-like qualities I layered... a lot. Underneath this white tunic I threw on a basic grey shirt and topped everything off with my go-to piece, a leather vest.

Structureless

Wearing: Forever 21 pants and jacket, H&M sweater, Adidas sneakers, Mansur Gavriel bag

I take the term "be comfortable in your own skin" quite literally most of the time, although most people feel the need to sacrifice comfort for fashion, I always find a way to opt of out that one...
For a breezy day walking around New York City I decided to sport these oh-so-comfy wide legged pants with a simple turtleneck (surprise!). This outfit is a prime example of how I manage to stay comfortable while, dare I say it... "trendy."

Comfort & Function

Wearing: LoveCulture pants, Zara shirt, Forever 21 vest and hat, Adidas sneakers

Thanks to the rise of sportswear as ready-to-wear, my feet have been thanking me over the past year or so. I've already expressed my deep affection for my Adidas superstars in previous posts but my love for them is heightened when I get the chance to pair them with just as comfortable clothing, which in this case includes these leather joggers. I thought I was over leather pants until I encountered these, something about them immediately attracted me to them.

Flared and Delivered

Wearing: Urban Outfitters pants, Forever 21 jacket, H&M shirt, Adidas sneakers

Ever since the outbreak/comeback of flared jeans a few years ago, the "flared leg" has always been in the back of my mind. Yet, for some reason I never developed enough of a desire to actually sport a pair of the 70's inspired numbers. But, when I came across these knit flared pants from Urban, I experienced the truest form of instant gratification. These pants are more comfortable than sweatpants, hell, they are even more comfortable than pajama pants. To combat how "un-put together" I felt I decided to wear this structured jacket to make sure I really didn't feel like I just rolled out of bed.

Simple Sundays

Wearing: Asos jacket, Forever 21 jeans, H&M sneakers, Mansur Gavriel bag, Daniel Wellington watch, bracelet and ring c/o of My Vintage Spirit

I can safely dub this ensemble my Whole Foods and "sunday brunch" look. In other words, this is a go-to outfit choice for me that I often wear to run errands, cue the ubiquitous "open" sign and Village Cleaners logo peeping out of the background. Every piece in this outfit is as simple as possible between my minimalist bucket bag, white sneakers, and basic jeans. For jewelry, which I also aimed to keep as simple as possible, I wore my Daniel Wellington watch paired with a gorgeous, classic leather bangle and dainty ring courtesy of My Vintage Spirit. My Vintage Spirit is an online jewelry store that will fulfill all of your vintage-inspired jewelry desires. Between statement earrings and pearl necklaces, you are sure to not be disappointed. Make sure to give their website a quick run through because I bet all the pearls in the world that you will find something you love!

Deceivable Slacks and Beanies

Wearing: Topshop jacket, Zara pants, Forever 21 turtleneck, ASOS boots, Nordstrom beanie

Today marks the first day of this season that I break out one of my beanies. Shocking, I know, considering that last year I felt naked without donning one on top of my head.

Along with my beanie I chose to wear these trousers from Zara, which happened to deceive me in the best possible way. On Zara's website, these pants appears to be, well, pants, with structure and all. But only once I received them did I notice that they are made out of the most comfortable, soft material ever, and you would never guess it.  Zara, you never seem to disappoint me.
