Fall and Lumberjacks

Wearing: Urban Outfitters flannel, H&M jeans, J.Crew vest, Doc Martens, necklace from FIT's Style Shop, bow from Etsy

Finally, fall like weather... I guess that is what possessed me to wear this very fall like outfit today, all of the green just screams fall to me. By the way, how great is this bow?! I have been eyeing the bows at American Apparel for weeks but I just couldn't bring myself to purchase $16 for a simple hair bow, so I found identical ones on this etsy store for half the price... made exactly the same and everything.

NYFW: Part 1

As all of you guys know, NYFW is currently "in session". Thus most of my time is consumed of watching runway shows. So far, since we're only about 4 days into it, I'm really loving what I'm seeing for spring. Mostly, I love how not everything is girly and pastels are the only color we see! Frankly, I am kind of tired of pastels, despite how gorgeous they are. Of course, there are some designers who can't seem to get away from the trend though, such as Maison Martine Margiela as seen below. In this case pastels were done right in spite of that, metallic was combined in and pastels were used in knits.

Walter Baker was one of my most favorite (wearable) collections, the clothing pieces alone were spectacular. Then once the pieces were styled in my favorite ways, such as mixing-prints or color blocking, the whole ensemble just came together like that.

WHITE! WHITE! WHITE! Clearly, white was also very prominent so far. We started seeing this trend last spring, but not many people jumped on it. However this upcoming spring is going to be a winter wonderland (color wise).

Meow

Wearing: Forever 21 kitty tee shirt, DIY vest, American Apparel skirt, Doc Martens

Seriously, what other title would I put other than "meow".... I mean it just comes right to my mind and I can't help it. When I found this shirt at Forever I was ecstatic, I had seen something similar to it at Romwe but never wound up buying it. IT'S JUST SO CUTE.
So this skirt from AA is one of the three I bought and love. Something about them just draws me in compared any other skirt I own. I have a feeling it is because I am obsessed with AA right now but it could also be the simple effortless of the skirt and the shape, especially their circle skirts which I have yet to wear.

The Perfect Sweater

Wearing: Free People plaid shirt, Brandy Melville sweater, Urban Outfitter shorts, Topshop booties

Ahh, this sweater. I bought this sweater at Brandy two months ago and it's been my go-to sweater ever since. I've wanted for a while so when I finally bought it I was thrilled, it was $60 which is average for Brandy's knits but compared to their $19 tee shirts it seems like a lot. Also I am in love with these high waisted shorts from Urban (originally $60 but I got them for $10). I was never one to find deals but lately I have, it feels pretty nice...
Is it weird that I like pictures that come out un-focused? I find them so.... just cool...
