Brocade was seen all over the F/W 2012 runways, from Rebecca to Proenza. When done right, brocade can come off as a chic, classy nighttime look. However, it is hard to pull off this fabric for a daytime, casual look. There are multiple types of brocade such as chinese brocade, damask, and paisley. Also, brocade is heavily used in home decor.
